Art Project - Felting
P2/3 - 2007
| Class 2 and
3 took part in the latest Art/Craft project involving a visiting
artist. Here they are starting work with textile artist, Mrs Earl. The task is to make your own felt and us it to create a seascape wall-hanging. The project will last about six weeks. |

Taking a photograph as we work. This is the second layer going on. It has to be the opposite way from the first. |

Now the third layer is being set down - remembering again to change direction. |

All hands needed now as we press down to let it soak through all three layers. |

Now comes the hard job as we have to rub and rub to create the felt. |

The final step for day one is to uncover and show the felt taking shape. |
