FUN IN ATHLETICS TEAM CHALLENGE

 

Pupils from classes 6 and 7 took part in a Fun In Athletics Team Challenge held in November in the Saltire Sports Centre. Our team participated with gusto in the many events laid on during the morning's activities........

These included relay races, obstacle races of all kinds, jumping events, running events, throwing events and even tossing the caber.

There was something there for everyone!

Having Fun in Athletics was the order of the day but it was extra fun when the final points were added up.  Our Boys team had finished in Third Place and our Girls team ended up FIRST in the Girls' Section.

Everyone therefore got a certificate and the Girls had the extra bonus of bringing home the WINNERS trophy.
